Size Chart

Merino wool is 100% natural and breathable making it the perfect fibre for a hat that is comfortable to wear and stretches as your little one grows.  Our hats are all knitted by hand so there can be an ever so slight variation in size between each hat.

Our measurements on the sizing guide are taken when the hat is lying flat, not stretched. The hat is designed to be worn stretched as this is helps it to stay in place on your child’s head!

Measure the circumference of your child’s head around the crown using a tape measure (see below) or simply use the “approximate age of child” as your guide

We usually find that all our merino hats (except the Seed as this is worn by babies through a period of rapid growth) will last one whole season and often two. When it is time to size up, you simply can just order the next size!

Seed size is a newborn size. Great gift for someone with a new baby. This usually lasts until around 3 - 4mths old.

Bean size is the most universal as it usually lasts children up to around age 5-6years old!
